My grandfather Nicolas left a pair of boots
in a land he never walked upon .
He gave to my mom a map about a land
and he called it Heaven.
An irony he would enjoy seing me walking on them
as I move on, into my own later life...
After half a century it’s time for my son
to step into my own footsteps
to walk the rest of the path
that my grandfather`s was showing me,
beyond me and remember
that I learned from my mom Leila
how to climb to the sky in order to switch ON
the light so people on earth Can see.
